I still say The Ghosts of all those great Coaches and Managers( Vince Lombardi,Knute Rockne and Casey Stengal,)Jumped into Herb Brooks’ body and coached that night.
this is better than sex
@Someguy111707 Thank you very much. I’m proud of our guys getting the silver.
Also, it’ll make us more motivated to take you on again in 4 years. Congrats on the gold and a toast to Canada and the United States
(Takes a sip)
it was a hell of a game. im american so of course i was disappointed, but of all teams that could have eliminated us, theres none more honorable than to the father of the greatest sport in the world. congratulations canada, you made history for your country, and in a way this is likef canadas own miracle on ice. we beat the russians in our own turf, and you defeated us in yours. i cant be bitter because this is something for future canadians to cherish and be proud of
You guys are ridiculous. I am an American and I am proud of the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team, but just because of my nationalyty doesn’t mean that I can’s be proud of Alex Bilodeau (Alexander the Great) breaking the Canadian gold curse, which I am. Come on, guys. the only thing seperating Yanks and ‘nucks is a political border.
agreed- sometimes i can feel the lump in my throat too!
To all the Canadian bashing America for losing the last olympics to you guys, just stop. We came damn close and congrats to you guys for winning it. THIS video on the other hand is what brought America together in one of our toughest times. A lot of stuff was going on in American life, and these college kids brought America back to its feet. This was more then just a hockey game for the American People.
every time i hear “do you believe in miracles” i get chills.
Amazing!
I’m sick of all these ‘nucks bashing USA hockey. Especially on a video that has nothing to do with them. Obviously USA doesn’t suck at hockey since we did beat Canada for gold at the IIHF! USA beat Canada in the Olympics and the 2nd game had to go into Overtime. Pretty solid hockey..
@strick9brunch We obviously do have better hockey players than you have… This is our national sport dude… I wouldn’t tell you we have better football players than yours, that would be stupid. Same thing with hockey. DO NOT pretend to be any close to us on that sport lol.
But we don’t have enough money to feed big professional leagues in Canada.. just take a look on the CFL lol… that’s why there’s a (inter)national hockey league.
Definitely one of the best sports moment
And best moment to be in th u.s
#1 sports moment
USA USA USA
@strick9brunch don’t speak again. ever.
well hockey is not a Canadian game
serious question….if canada is so great at hockey…why do all the best canadian hockey players come play in the NHL? shouldn’t canada have its own league? i’m not looking to start a war here….i’m not a big hockey fan.. im just wondering
i wish we would of just nuked them.
still brings a tear to my eye after all these years!
prob the greatest sports moment ever. by far the biggest upset in sports history
the USA squeaked out a win against Canada in juniors, and Canada squeaked out a win against the USA in the Olympics.
Yet some Canadians think American hockey as shit and then have the nerve to call US (not an abbrev.) arrogant. Ain’t that some shit.
@masonb26 its russia duh
I thought the US and Canada were friends : /
hell yeah, GOLD IN 2014
i was just tryin to point out that we can beat them in every other sport, so they shouldnt be talkin crap
@kstem19 let’s not forget, Canada was favored to win the Gold, the US wasn’t even supposed to make the medal round. We came damn to close to winning the gold. US Hockey in 2014!
